Abstract

Pedagogy for design has always been regulated by the need of the industry and the interaction between the professional practice and academics. Through this research, we have tried to understand various academic taxonomies and the contemporary approaches in teaching methods. Activity-based case studies were conducted to observe the engagement levels of the students. It was found that it's essential to teach new technologies but balance it with hands-on activity so that the students develop a stronger understanding of the fundamentals.
