Abstract
This research paper examines the impact of the Design Thinking process in cultivating creative confidence and encouraging empathy towards others. Our target group included students in general; Digital Engineering students in particular. This research reports on the finding gauged from two Design Thinking workshops that took place at the HPI D-School in 2017 and 2018. We applied the Competency Based Creative Agency Scale, a self-reported scale, to evaluate the participants’ creative self-efficacy and perception of their own creative capacity.
